Adam D. Roark is a graduate of Davidson College and the Wake Forest University School of Law.  In addition, he holds an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida, the number two ranked tax program in the country.  In 2014, Adam was named one of the top Forty Under Forty business leaders in the Gainesville area by Business in the Heart of Florida Magazine.  In 2019, Adam was awarded the Gary Gerson Award for Advisor Excellence by the University of Florida Advisor Network

 

Adam has devoted his career to helping clients better understand and navigate their business and estate planning options.  Accessibility and a willingness to take the time necessary to explain complex issues facing a business owner or the intricacies of Wills, Trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney, and other aspects of estate planning are the foundation of Adam’s approach to practicing law.

Hobbies

Adam enjoys running, cooking, and spending time with his wife, Katie, and young son, Henry.  He is also an avid reader and sports fan.

 Community Involvement

Over the past decade, Adam D. Roark has taken an active role in a variety of charitable and non-charitable ventures in and around Gainesville.  Adam has previously served on the Board of Directors for the Red Cross of North Central Florida and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Taste of Gainesville.   He has also been a member of the Equality Florida Gala Host Committee and was actively involved in the growth and leadership of Running Tabs, a local running group.   In addition, Adam is a frequent guest lecturer across Gainesville and has previously taught the Santa Fe College Community Education course on Estate Planning.
